Met Gala Best Dressed 2016
This year the Met Gala was outstanding once again. The theme for this year was “Manus X Machina”. There were so many amazing gowns but I managed to narrow it down to 5 favourites of the night. The ladies can do no wrong, looking absolutely flawless in their designer gowns.
Kendall Jenner // Versace
Kendall Jenner was a stand out of the night. She can wear anything and still pull it off. The simple make-up and hair style make the dress the highlight and focus of the whole outfit.
Gigi Hadid // Tommy Hilfiger
I love this colour and style of the dress on Gigi. The metal detail on the dress and hand accessories are perfect for the theme of this years Met Gala. She always wears beautiful outfits with every event she attends.
Margot Robbie // Calvin Klein
The white dress that Margot wore looked stunning with the simple accessories. She has definitely become one of Australia’s best with her career success. She was doing us Aussie’s proud.
Kylie Jenner // Balmain
Kylie Jenner once again has changed her hair colour and style and I love it. It looks so glamorous with this dress. This dress is similar to both Kim Kardashian and Chris Jenner but Kylie was the stand out, especially for her first Met Gala Ball.
Taylor Hill // Topshop
This black dress is designed perfectly to fit Taylor Hill. Her hair and make-up was very elegant. The halter neck and backless style is very unique and one of my favourites of the night.
What were are favourites of the night?
Simplicity is a Trend
Today’s post is all about simple but fashionable outfits. I am not the biggest fan of outfits that mix different patterns and colours. A majority of my clothes in my wardrobe are black and white but, of course I do love a pop of colour every once and a while.
I have created 3 different outfits that would be perfect of almost any season, as it is starting to move into the winter weather here in Australia but spring in England.
T-shirt // Dotti
Boyfriend Jeans // Cotton On
Shoes // Converse
Sunglasses // Temt
Shirt // Ava
High Waisted Skinny Jeans // Forever 21
Boots // Famous Footwear
Purse // Colette by Colette haymann
Bracelet // Mimco
Sunglasses // Temt
T-shirt Dress // Chicabooti
Shoes // Famous Footwear
Sunglasses // Temt

Everyone knows that Coachella is one of the best music and arts festivals ever made! It is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. There are a variety of amazing acts performing over 3 days.
After seeing my Instagram feed full of Coachella photos, it is definitely on my bucket list (actually it always has been since I found out about it), I bet it is for many of you too!
Coachella fashion is also a big part of the festivals. The more bold, bright and out there the better! So that brings us to the outfits. The festival fashion is a combination of colours, jewellery, sunglasses and boots just to name a few. Here are some of my favourites!
What is your favourite part about Coachella? or What has your experience been like at Coachella? and… What is your ultimate music festivals you want to go to?

Must Have Shoes For YOUR Collection
Let’s be honest, you can never have enough shoes. I think I have around 15 pairs of shoes at the moment. Which is quite a lot I feel. However no doubt I will be adding to that very shortly when I go shopping again. In this post I show you my essentials for my shoe collection.
Everybody needs a pair of boots. Boots come in a variety of styles and colours. They are particularly perfect to wear in the season of winter. I love to wear them with a pair of high waisted skinny jeans or a t-shirt dress. These boots are from Famous Footwear Australia and only cost $30, BARGAIN!
Every girl needs a pair of heels in their shoe collection. Heels are a lovely option when going out for dinner or events (just to name a few). They are a great way to instantly dress up your outfit. These heels are my favourite because they are very simple but so comfortable. Many of you can agree that it is so important to find a pair of heels that you find comfortable! This pair was also purchased at Famous Footwear Australia. I believe they cost me around $50.
I find myself wearing flats and sandals most of the time. I love this style of shoe because it is a wonderful option for nearly every event or plan for the day. They can be worn with absolutely anything at all! This pair is so cute because of the little detailed gold buckle and straps across the feet. These features give them a very unique style. These were bought for $40 from Glasson’s Australia.
In my personal opinion Converse are the best sneakers/runners to own. They are definitely worth the price. They can range between $60 and $240. There are a variety of colours and styles but I just cannot go without the classic white style. I spent $80 on my pair and will always love them.
Thank you for reading my post. Please leave a comment letting me know your favourites and why. I would love to know. Have a lovely day!
