Should You Stay In Hostels When You Travel?

You may have heard it before but i’ll say it again, you don’t need to be rich to travel the world. As you know accommodation can be one of the biggest expenses when it come to travelling. But I am here to tell you it doesn’t have to be that way… The best way to travel on a budget is to stay in hostels.

You don’t need to live in luxury to have a good holiday. It is actually crazy how nice hostels are these days. They literally have everything you need from beds, showers, laundry, restaurants and bars and some even have pools. Yeap pretty much everything hotels can offer you but at a ridiculously affordable price. All of the rooms have lockers where you can put all of your luggage into. Each bed always have power points right next to them (don’t forget your worldwide adaptor to charge everything though!).

I have listed some of my favourite hostels that are found all across Europe. Some of the cities include London, Budapest, Paris, Amsterdam, Nice and Berlin. Most of them are located in great spots close enough to walk to the city centres or just a short train ride or bus drove away.

I use to be super nervous the thought of staying in a hostel and sharing rooms with strangers but now I highly recommend it for everyone. These hostels are honestly amazing. They are super affordable, so clean and really safe!

Have you ever stayed in a hostel before? What was your experience like? Check out my post ‘4 reasons to say YES to holiday tours’ to find out how my experience went through travelling Europe for 37 days in hostels.
