Sometimes no plans are a good plan

Hey everyone, following up from my last post in Dublin we headed to Cork, Ireland the next day. We didn’t really have a plan when we booked this trip but sometimes no plans are a good plan. After some thinking we decided to head south first. On the way to our first stop in Cork we stopped at the Rock of Cashel for lunch and then drove to the Blarney Castle and Gardens. It was so amazing to see all of the castles and the biggest garden I have ever seen. We were walking around the grounds for a couple of hours. When we climbed up to the top of Blarney Castle I had to kiss the Blarney Stone of course (kinda gross when you really think about it. Literally probably thousands and thousands of people do it but oh well).

After visiting the castle and driving for hours we booked a place to stay only a few hours earlier then arriving… haha it turned out well though. It was super cheap because we ended up sleeping in our camper van at a campsite. It was a pretty fun experience and when your travelling it is okay to pick the cheaper option.

So our first proper night on our road trip was pretty interesting but makes for a good story. I recommend you to go on a road trip at least once in your life. Doesn’t have to be anywhere crazy, even just away for the weekend up the coast. Just pick a place, grab some friends and make a plan as you go. Where would your dream road trip be? Leave them in the comments. I would love to check them out.

Thanks for reading and talk soon, Sara xx
