Barcelona, Spain is one of my favourite places and 100% recommend you to go and visit. We were only there for 2 nights but I feel like we managed to do quite a bit. On our first night we went to a tapas restaurant. We had all different types of food but my favourite would be the chicken wings and sangria of course. You have to try sangria when you visit Spain! You will not be disappointed. We were also able to go and see a Flamenco show and visit a couple of clubs too. The next day was a bit of a recovery day from the night before… so we went and checked out the beach. It was about 38 degrees as well so the beach was needed. We checked out some markets along the main street, La Rambla and ended up at a restaurant. We ordered Paella because Spain is famous for it and it was delicious. We visited a couple of tourist spots like the Sagrada Família church. Probably the most amazing building I have ever seen even though it wasn’t completely finished. We spent our last night having a couple of drinks at a rooftop bar. Such a lovely way to end our trip in Barcelona.
What to do:
– Visit Sagrada Família (€15)
– Flamenco Show (€13.50 minimum). Depending on the seating area the prices do vary but its a good night out.
– Try Sangria and Paella. These can be found in almost every restaurant you walk past. All at reasonable prices too.
Where else do you recommend visiting in Spain? Leave them in the comments below. I would love to know 🙂 I will definitely have to try and come back because 2 nights was not enough!
